Ms. Bleau's repertoire include Nedda (cover, I Pagliacci) for Opéra de Montréal; Micaëla (La Tragédie de Carmen) for CVAI; Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte) and Susanna (Il segreto di Susanna) for the Atelier lyrique de l'Opéra de Montréal; Hélène ( La Belle Hélène) for Opéra-théâtre de Rimouski; Gertrud (Hänsel und Gretel), la Contessa Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Tytania (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Blanche de la Force (Dialogues des Carmélites), Mrs. Gobineau (The Medium) and Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi) for Université de Montréal. This season, Ms. Bleau will cover Nedda and Tosca for l'Opéra de Montréal. In addition, she will sing her first Erste Dame (Die Zauberflöte) and her first Noémie (Cendrillon) for l'Opéra de Montréal. To round out the season, she will be Emilie Hudon in the anniversary production of Nelligan for the Atelier lyrique. A native from Montreal (Quebec), soprano Caroline Bleau has been praised as "temperamental and firm-voiced as Fiordiligi, convincing in the slow-moving "Per pieta""(The Gazette) and as a "talented Fiordiligi with beautiful presence on stage and obvious qualities" (ResMusica). About her Susanna (Il segreto di Susanna) : "Caroline Bleau brings to her character, a Susanna mâtine, more sensual yet as sister elder mozartienne when she follows the spirals of smoke eyes amounting in the air. Excellent lyrical soprano, voice which conceals obvious qualities by her mere presence on stage, she is able to give consistency to a part where the theme seems to lack of it."
